Parachute Days Is Multipurpose Community space built at Love Field, and old baseball field between point Reyes Station and Inverness, CA. The Space is built in the spring and hosts events throughout the summer until fall when it is stored for the winter. Parachute Days has hosted Weddings, memorials and private events, benefits for local non profits, movie nights, and Concerts ranging from 200-1000 people with all types of music.
Parachute Days is a project I started in 2015. It began as a community bbq with performances by musician friends under a 64' parachute only supported by driftwood. The project has now grown be a part of the community. A gigantic shade structure made with a 100' reclaimed parachute supported with stable, artistic infrastructure made from reclaimed sustainable materials.
Artist who have performed include Animal Collective, Jonathan Richman, Kevin Morby, White Fence, Chris Robinson, The California Honey Drops, Soul Ska, Explosions in the Sky, Michael Hurley, Ramblin Jack Elliott, The Allah-Lahs, Cass McCombs, Hand Habits, Jessica Pratt, Here We go Magic, The Range of Light Wilderness, Kacey Johansing and many more.
