PARACHUTE DAYS
Parachute Days is a multipurpose community space built at Love Field, an old baseball field between Point Reyes Station and Inverness, CA. The space is built in the spring and hosts events throughout the summer until fall when it is stored for the winter. Parachute Days has hosted Weddings and private events, benefits for local non profits, movie nights, and Concerts ranging from 200-900 people with all types of music.
Parachute Days is a project I started in 2015. It began as a community bbq with performances by musician friends under a 64' parachute only supported by driftwood. The project has now grown be a part of the community. A gigantic shade structure made with a 100' reclaimed parachute supported with stable, artistic infrastructure made from reclaimed sustainable materials.
